Infrared (IR) Filters

We have infrared and ultraviolet filters in the following sizes: 25mm, 25.5mm, 30mm, 37mm, 52mm, 58mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm and Cokin Sizes  Glass types include 630nm, 665nm, 715nm, 780nm, 830nm, 850nm, 1000nm, XDP, CC1, CC2, UVR, 330nm and various bandpass filters.  We have the greatest selection in 58mm.

If you do not know the size filter you need, check on the front on your camcorder or camera.  You should see something like this:

bullet F 3.6-72mm - That refers to your wide angle and zoom range
bullet37mm f (looks like an O with a line through it).  This is your filter diameter.  If it says 37mm, then you need a 37mm filter.  If you still aren't sure, look in your Owner's Manual or the manufacturer web site.  If  your camera is not 30m, 37mm or 58mm you need to use a step-up or step-down ring.  We don't sell stepping rings, but they are a common item at photography stores.
bullet48mm and 2 inch filters are interchangeable

30mm filters are about the size of a quarter.  37mm filters are about the size of a half-dollar.  58mm filters are about 2 3/8 inches in diameter.
