Please Note:  These flashlights were custom made for us a number of years ago.  The manufacturer is no longer in business and this light is too expensive to make again because it was machined from a solid bar of aluminum.  We have sold out of some models and have limited stock.

Our custom manufactured 5 LED flashlights are the highest quality, 5 LED lights that we have ever seen.  Manufacturing starts from a solid piece of aluminum which is CNC machined to form the housing and cap.  Wall thickness is 0.150 thick solid which is over 3 times thicker and stronger than a comparable Maglite.  The LED are connected to a Voltage Stabilization Circuit (VSC) which maintains optimum brightness as batteries wear out.  The LED and circuit board are press fit into the housing front and then sealed with epoxy to water proof and protect unit.  The rear cap and switch screw onto the back of the housing with an O-ring seal to protect against water leakage.  A sealed rubber switch in the battery cap turns the unit On / Off.  The LED's are selected from the brightest ones available for each particular color.

* Infrared LED's are not rated in mcd (micro candles) because the light is not visible to the human eye so we use mW/sr which represents the radiant intensity.  Similarly, the 400nm LED emits light near the bottom of the human visible range, so the light appears much less intense.

Ultraviolet 385nm and 405nm.

Some invisible inks, such as our invisible blue, will fluoresce from 350nm to 410nm allowing you to use our lower cost 405nm light.  Other inks, such as our invisible red (UVXPBR), will fluoresce faintly at 405nm but strongly at 385nm or lower.  The 385nm and lower lights will fluoresce a greater range of materials.

Infrared 880nm and 940nm

The 880nm lights emit a brighter light than the 940nm for most camcorders and night vision devices (NVD's).  Many NVD are only sensitive up to about 900nm.  Consumer camcorders are sensitive to about 1100nm if they have been infrared enabled or are in NiteShot mode.  The 880nm do emit a very faint red glow if you hold the light directly in front of your eye at close range in complete darkness.  For practical purposes, the 880nm can be considered completely invisible though some law enforcement agencies prefer the 940nm complete lack of emission in the visible range.
